The perfect foundation is like the holy grail, it’s hard to find and worth it’s weight in gold when you discover it.
There are so many to choose on the market that it can be so overwhelming for women.
I wanted to share with you my top five foundations that I use on clients and why I would use them.
1. Nars Sheer Glow Foundation
This is an incredible Foundation that feels light weight on but gives a great coverage. It has what I would describe as a Demi Matte finish which means it is in between a dewy sheer foundation and a matte full coverage foundation. It’s long lasting and feels great on the skin. It comes in a large range of colours to suit all skin types. I use this a lot on my brides and on beauty shoots aswell as on myself.
2. Dior Back Stage Face and Body Foundation
This is a recent find for me but I will now never look back. It gives the perfect amount of coverage whilst looking like your skin when it’s on. It’s a sheer but buildable coverage. I like to apply it with a foundation brush onto the skin and then press it in with a damp beauty blender to create a beautiful fresh finish.
3. MAC Fix Fluid Foundation
This foundation is a firm favourite for many of my clients, it’s a full coverage long wearing liquid foundation that once applied will last you all day and night. It can be worn on all skin types but if you have dry skin I would suggest you really hydrate the skin with skincare before applying.
It’s comes in a large range of colours to suit all skin types and is perfect if you want to look flawless for the long day and night ahead of you.
