There are so many mascaras out there to choose from that all do different things to the lashes plumping, curling thickening lengthening the list goes on. The question is what do you want your mascara to do for you.
I would always advise if you have short lashes to look for a mascara to lengthen and if your lashes are sparse you would want an mascara that will thicken them up.
I also use a curling wand on clients prior to applying mascara to help create a good curl to the lashes which will open the eye up and make you look more awake.
1. MAC Extra Dimension Mascara
This mascara is a personal favourite of mine, it has a hard bristled wand which applies a good coat to the lashes on first application. It gives thickens and length to lashes. It’s doesn’t smudge clump or flake so it’s great for everyday and occasion.
2. Kevin Aucoin Curling Mascara
This mascara has a innovative formula that gives length and separation to the lashes.
It’s has a small wand which is easy to use and applies easily from root to top of lashes. It’s smudge resistant and long wearing so perfect for every occasion.
3. MAC Extended Play Lash
This Mascara has a lovely rose smell to the formal. It has a small wand which makes it easy to get in and coat every lash top and bottom.
I love this mascara because of its longevity and it never transfers under your eyes so you never end up with panda eyes at the end of the day. It has a waterproof formula which lasts 16 hours and gives a natural defined lash look.
